Miniature Leaf Punch Dark Green - a punch for miniature foliage

A hand punch from the Spanish maker Green Stuff World intended for making very small leaves from paper, thin card or modeling film. One press cuts out a clean shape which is then glued onto the wire or moss frameworks of trees and bushes. The color designation in the name distinguishes the individual pieces across the whole range of punches, so several kinds of greenery can be combined on one diorama and monotonous repetition avoided.

Use

• Paint the paper on both sides beforehand - painting finished microscopic leaves is next to impossible.
• Punch through several layers of paper at once; you will save time and the strength of your hand.
• Collect the cut leaves on a piece of adhesive tape or into a dish so that they are not lost.
• Fix them to the framework with thin white glue or with spray adhesive.
• Clean the cutting edge from time to time and oil it lightly; you will lengthen its life.

For builders of dioramas, military scenes and fantasy bases who want greenery with a sharp, repeatable shape instead of crushed foam. It will be appreciated by railroad modelers and makers of display-case scenes as well, where the foliage is seen close up and a coarse texture would spoil the whole impression.

The tool has sharp cutting edges - use it on a firm surface and keep it out of the reach of children. Paper, glue and paints are not included in the package.
