The 2022 volume of Modelar has a heading of its own, separate from the current run. Splitting the Czech modelling magazine by year exists for one reason: a collector rebuilding a run backwards can work within a single year instead of reading through every magazine in the catalogue. Volumes from the early 2020s sit in the overlap between the paper-and-plan tradition of the title and its later coverage of plastic kits and finishing technique. Completing a run is a matter of picking off single numbers wherever they turn up, so the two headings to keep an eye on are the main Modelar magazine section, which lists every volume side by side, and Modelar Extra for the expanded specials that fall outside the ordinary numbering.
