Aids and accessories for resin printing cover what gets used up and what you cannot manage without when decanting: printer resin, silicone funnels with a filter, and reusable metal mesh strainers. Filtering is not a formality — cured fragments returned to the bottle will show up as a defect on the next print. Work in gloves with ventilation, because uncured resin is an irritant.
Choose resin by what you print: harder materials hold a crisp edge, tougher ones survive handling without snapping, and clear versions are used for glazing and lights. After a print, the remainder in the vat is poured out through a filter funnel so no cured debris reaches your stock. The wearing parts of the printer — FEP film and flexible build plates — are in sheets and films. Printed parts are then bonded with cyanoacrylate and given a thin surfacer before painting, which shows up the print layers. The whole area is in 3D printing.
