Mixing paper under the designation MP-05 in a package of fifty sheets. It serves as a single-use surface on which you mix a shade, stir a wash or thin paint to the consistency you need. When the work is done you throw the sheet away and start the next mixing on a clean surface, so no residue of the previous shade gets into the new one. Fifty sheets last a long time even with regular painting.
Take one sheet and lay it on a flat surface, ideally so that the corners do not curl. Dose the paints drop by drop and note down the ratio of a successful shade straight away, otherwise you will not hit it a second time. Mixing is done with the end of a brush, a toothpick or a small spatula. It is worth making a test stroke next to the main pool and letting it dry: after drying, the shade and the sheen usually shift, and only that stroke shows how the paint will look on the model.
For modelers who mix their own shades, work with washes and thin paint as needed. Always follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the paint you use for the method of application and the right thinner. The package contains fifty sheets of mixing paper; the paints, the thinner and the tools are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
