A modeling paint from the Aqua line by Mr.Paint. It carries the designation 4BO, which is the Soviet protective green that the ground vehicles of the Red Army received, and postwar vehicles after them. The supplier lists the shade as the Russian green of 1947, so it is one of the later forms of this green.
The shade is aimed above all at Soviet tanks, armored personnel carriers, artillery and trucks. It also serves on crates, jerrycans and other equipment placed around the vehicles in a diorama, because those left the factory in this color too.
Mix the paint thoroughly before use, the pigment settles at the bottom and an unmixed shade will be lighter. The thinner and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the packaging; follow them with this line and reach for the thinner intended for it, as another one may curdle the paint. Apply two or three thin coats; one heavy coat drowns the engraving and rounds off the edges. Before decals and weathering come, cover the surface with a clear coat, which separates them from the paint layer, so that a mistake can then be washed off without damaging the base.
The paint is supplied on its own. Thinner, clear coat and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
