A modeling paint from the Mr.Paint range in a matte green shade listed as Dirty Green under the standard code FS 34148.
Responsibility details are not available.
The paint carries the name Dirty Green and the standard code FS 34148. It is a matte shade from the green group, that is a color suited to places where the surface should look worn and should not shine. Shades of this kind come into their own on models in camouflage finishes, on vehicles and on surfaces meant to look used and dusty.
The five-digit number comes from the American Federal Standard 595, which describes colors by an unambiguous code instead of a trade name. The first digit sets the degree of sheen, and the leading three means a matte surface. The second digit places the shade in a color group, and four belongs to the greens. The remaining three places tell individual shades apart. The code is therefore better than the name alone for comparing paints across manufacturers.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the pigment settled at the bottom is mixed back in. Apply the paint in thin coats and let each one become tacky before the next goes on; one heavy coat floods the fine relief of the surface. Wash and degrease the base beforehand, as the finish holds best on a smooth, clean surface. Thinning, cleaning the tools and the recommended drying time are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Close an open bottle at once, otherwise the paint dries at the rim and the cap sticks.
What is sold is the paint in the shade described. Thinner, brushes and other accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
