About product

Mr.Paint MR.SCRIBER NARROW (Black)

A scribing tool from Mr.Paint with a narrow hardened steel blade and a black protective finish. It serves for redrawing and deepening the panel lines on plastic models. The handle with a rubber grip sits comfortably and guides the stroke precisely.

Use

  • Redrawing and deepening the molded panel lines on a model.
  • Scribing new, fine lines along a template or tape.
  • Bringing detail out before applying a wash into the lines.
  • Always draw the tool toward yourself, in small strokes and with light pressure.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to bring out surface detail and prepare sharp, clean panel lines. The narrow blade suits fine lines in the smaller scales in particular.

The blade is sharp: work carefully and guide the stroke away from your fingers. Protect the blade after use and store the tool out of the reach of children.

FAQ

For redrawing and deepening the panel lines on a model, and for scribing new fine lines. The deepened lines then hold a wash better.

A narrow blade creates a very fine line, which suits the smaller scales and fine surface detail in particular.

It is always drawn toward you, in short strokes and with light pressure, ideally along tape or a template for a straight line.
