MS10 - Israeli Army uniforms Set

Israeli Army uniforms Set - a Lifecolor paint set

A themed set of modeling paints from the Italian brand Lifecolor, which the manufacturer put together around one task: painting Israeli Army uniforms. What it contains is painting material, and the shades are chosen so that they go together and cover the typical look of the field gear of one army. The modeler therefore does not have to build a color line out of individual bottles and guess whether the tones will work together.

What the set is suited to

A uniform is the largest continuous area on a figure and it decides the credibility of the whole scene. The most frequent trouble is a mismatch of shades from different lines, where the shadow and the highlight look like a different fabric. Paints from one themed set hold a common character, so the transitions between the base tone, the shading and the highlighting look natural. It comes into its own on standalone figures as well as on crews in dioramas with postwar and modern equipment.

Usage tips

• Stir the bottle thoroughly before every use, otherwise settled pigment will shift the resulting shade.
• Work in thin layers, covering power grows gradually and the relief of the folds stays legible.
• Try the shade out first on a spare piece of plastic, on the model it looks different than in the bottle.
• Choose the thinner and the cleaner according to the instructions of the maker of the paint, not according to habits from another line.
• Fabric looks more believable in a matte finish, a sheen on a uniform gives an artificial surface away.

Who the set is for

It will be appreciated by figure modelers and by builders of dioramas with modern equipment who want the color line of the uniform settled in one purchase and their time given to painting rather than to looking for shades.

Caution: Keep the paints out of the reach of children, work in a ventilated room and close the bottles carefully after use.
