This is not modeling glue for joints or a filler. It is a soft moldable putty that can be shaped with the fingers, pressed onto a surface and taken off again. On the bench it serves mainly as a temporary grip: it holds a small part while it is painted, fixes a component that is only to be tried in place, or seats a light part so that it does not roll about the bench. Check the volume, the chemical composition and how many times the putty can be reused on the box.
Why it beats improvising
Modelers often settle for a piece of double-sided tape or a drop of cyanoacrylate glue. Tape, though, holds unevenly and lifts fresh paint when it comes off, while cyanoacrylate leaves a white bloom and often damages a plastic part. A moldable putty adapts to the shape of a part and, when it comes off, does not pull across the surface of the plastic.
It will be appreciated by anyone who sprays with an airbrush and needs something to hold small parts on, and by the modeler who assembles small subassemblies and wants to try them dry first. It is a consumable aid for the bench, not part of a model.
Before using it on a finished clear coat, try the putty in an inconspicuous place. On fresh paint or a soft clear coat it can leave a mark, and prolonged contact with resin or clear parts is better not attempted.
