Neutral Texture for Rough Terrain 250ml

AK interactive Neutral Texture for Rough Terrain (250 ml)

A neutral (uncolored) acrylic texture paste by the Spanish brand AK interactive with a coarser grain, intended for broken-up and uneven terrain: stony ground, rubble and broken roads. The modeler chooses the shade by coloring the paste or by toning it once dry. It is neither a paint nor a kit but a consumable material for building terrain. The material holds on the usual bases such as wood, plaster, polystyrene and the plastic of a base. The package contains 250 ml of paste ready to be applied with a brush or a spatula.

Use

• For rough, stony and broken-up terrain on dioramas and vignettes
• A neutral shade: color it in the paste itself, or overpaint and tone it once dry
• Applied with a spatula or a brush in a thicker layer, thinned with water or an acrylic thinner
• Stones, rubble and other scenic elements can be set into the wet surface
• Once dry it can be brought out with washes, filters and pigments for a three-dimensional look

Who it is for

For modelers and diorama builders who need a bolder, coarser structure than fine soil gives and want to set the coloring themselves. It suits rocky ground, gravel roads and damaged terrain. Suitable for more experienced and for beginning builders.

A water-based acrylic material. Wash brushes and tools with water immediately after work, let the finished surface dry thoroughly and keep the material out of the reach of children.
