Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I Ausf. E heavy tank (late version) in its transport configuration, in 1:35 scale from the maker AFV Club. The model captures the tank prepared for transport by rail, when narrower transport tracks were fitted and the outer arrangement of the road wheels was altered. Take the exact package contents from the manufacturer's catalog.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank committed from 1942 and armed with an 8.8 cm gun. Because of the great width of the combat tracks, narrower transport tracks (Verladeketten) were used for transport by rail and the outer row of road wheels was removed, so that the vehicle would fit the railway loading profile. After unloading, the tracks were changed back to the combat ones.
Pay attention to fitting the transport tracks correctly and to altering the road wheels according to the instructions. Assemble the running gear first, use thin modeling cement on the joints, treat the surface with a base color (primer) and apply the camouflage scheme with an airbrush. You will create the mud and dust effects with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
