AMMO North Africa Dust - desert dust effect

North Africa Dust by AMMO by Mig Jimenez is an enamel weathering effect in a light sand (tan) shade that dries matte. It is not applied into engraved lines like a wash but onto surfaces: it creates the fine dusting and deposits of dust typical of a dry desert environment. It suits vehicles, aircraft and dioramas from North Africa and from other arid regions. It comes in a 35 ml bottle.

Use

• Apply it with a brush or an airbrush onto flat areas, lower sections and broken-up surfaces
• Blend the fine transitions and the intensity with a clean brush moistened in an odorless thinner (mineral spirits)
• Layer it with earthy shades for a richer dusting in terms of color
• Concentrate the heaviest deposits where dust settles: on edges, in corners and on running gear
