Responsibility details are not available.
A light golden yellow shade from the acrylic line that AMMO of Mig Jimenez aims at painting figures, uniforms and skin. Chemically it is a water-thinnable acrylic in a dropper bottle, so it is laid on with a brush and with an airbrush and is cleaned with water. The tone corresponds to a pale golden yellow of the kind that suits small decorative items, braiding, buttons and fittings, or serves as a highlight in yellow areas. Whether the shade contains a metallic pigment should be checked against the manufacturer's color chart.
Yellow and golden shades are among the worst covering paints of all, because they contain less covering pigment than grays and greens. On a dark base, therefore, always start with a light undercoat, white or light ocher if you like, and only then lay the shade itself on. Use a thin brush with a sharp point, thin the paint slightly and build it up in two or three translucent coats. Let each one dry, otherwise you will dissolve the coat underneath and pull it away. With very small items such as buttons, it is better to wipe the surplus paint carefully off the surroundings with a damp brush right away than to wait for it to dry and correct it.
For modelers of figures and historical equipment who need a light golden yellow for details, and for anyone who mixes his own highlights into yellow shades.
