The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War and the Ausf. H version was produced in the largest numbers. It carries a 7.5 cm gun with a long barrel 48 calibers long, strengthened frontal armor and, on the sides of the hull and the turret, add-on sheet-metal skirts against anti-tank rifle rounds. It is precisely these skirts that give the H version its characteristic boxy silhouette, by which it is easy to recognize.
It relates to a model of the Panzer IV Ausf. H in 1:35 scale, that is to the most common size of models of ground equipment. What exactly the package contains and which kit it suits are given in the maker's description and instructions, so go through them before buying. In this scale a model is easy to complement with figures and scenic accessories, because the choice in it is the widest of all scales of ground equipment.
On a model of the Panzer IV the result is decided by the running gear and the side skirts. On the real machines the skirts were often bent or missing altogether, so slightly buckled metal and one or two missing plates look more believable than a perfect row. It pays to bring the basic shade to life with a lighter tone on the horizontal surfaces and to settle the dust from the bottom upwards, so that the model does not look evenly dirty.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
