Paper Leaves Series - Autumn 2 from LIANG Model is paper foliage for dioramas and vignettes, the second autumn variant of the range, a material for trees, bushes and fallen leaves alike.

A scenic material for builders of dioramas: die-cut paper leaves with which the crowns of trees and bushes are covered or from which a carpet of fallen leaves is made. It is neither a finished tree nor a kit. The autumn part of the range works with the season when the leaves change color and fall; the number two is the second variant of this part and can be used on its own as well as together with the number one, so that the vegetation comes across as varied and irregular.
Prepare and finish the armature of the tree beforehand. Glue the leaves on in small amounts with tweezers, using thinned PVA glue or matte varnish, which soaks into the paper. Work from the ends of the branches toward the trunk and leave gaps in the crown; in autumn a crown is thinned out and a continuous mass looks artificial. Apply a thin layer of thinned glue to the terrain and sprinkle the leaves into it from a height, so that they land at random; keep the little heaps where leaves would catch, by the trunk, by a wall, in a ditch.
A bent leaf always looks better than a flat one, so press its center in slightly with a round tool. Keep the color variety, but at the end unify the whole with a very thin filter or a light touch of pigment, so that the scene does not come across as fragmented. Paper reacts to water, so tone it only with light passes and pauses for drying. Put unused leaves away in a closed bag.
