VMS Pigment Jockey No. 05 Red Earth

Pigment Jockey is a ready-made liquid weathering mixture from VMS that combines the proven Spot-On pigments with a binder into one product ready for immediate use. Mixing the pigment with a binder by hand is thus avoided. The Red Earth shade imitates reddish earth and dust and suits dusting, splashes and deposits on vehicles and in dioramas. The product comes in a dropper bottle with a volume of 30 ml and is based on an enamel binder, so you work with the thinner recommended by the manufacturer, not with water.

Use

• It is applied with a brush by the techniques of splashing, running, stippling and also as a light wash.
• Before work, dab the brush on a palette and work with a rather damp brush so that you control the effect.
• Thanks to its reversibility, a dried layer can be worked up again with the manufacturer's matching weathering carrier.
• Suitable for chassis, the undersides of hulls, fenders and dusty surfaces.
