A resin kit part from MAiM out of the modular tube system for building pipe runs in a diorama. This piece is a long curved pipe with a different shape of bend, which joins a longer section with a smooth turn in the run. The part is compatible with ordinary plastic (styrene) tubes of the matching diameter and rounds out the straight sections, bends, connectors and end caps in the range. It is not a figure or a model of equipment but a scenic accessory. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The second variant of the curved pipe gives the pipe run variety, because it bends differently from the first variant. It lets you carry the pipework over a greater distance with a turn and saves joints between a straight section and a bend. With ordinary plastic tubes and the other parts of the system you can extend the run and fit it to the scene.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, clean up the mold parting lines and bond them with super glue. Apply a primer before painting. Bring the metal out in gray, green or rust according to your intent, and on the edges add rubbed wear, rust streaks and a wash to pick out the joints and the flanges.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, plastic tubes and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
