A publication devoted to Polish naval aviation in the period which the title sets out as the years 1920 to 1956.
Responsibility details are not available.
Polskie Lotnictwo Morskie is the Polish name for naval aviation, that is, for the air component tied to the navy and to the coast. The time span in the title begins in 1920, shortly after the restoration of Polish statehood, and ends in 1956. That range covers the interwar years, when Polish naval aviation was still being built up, then the Second World War and finally the postwar reorganization of the armed forces. It is therefore a subject that joins three very different stages in one line, and with them three different forms of equipment and markings.
This is a publication on the history of an air arm, not a kit or modeling material. Titles of this kind tend to be welcome reference for modelers: besides the historical account they usually bring period photographs and an overview of the types used, which is exactly what decisions about equipment, markings and color schemes are based on when building. The name of the title is Polish.
The publication will be appreciated by those interested in the history of aviation in Central Europe and by modelers who build the machines of Polish units and are looking for the context. It will also serve as a gift for a collector of aviation literature whose collection is being filled out with less common subjects.
This is a publication. A model, a kit, decals and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
