Tamiya Polycarbonate Reinforcing Cement

A special adhesive from Tamiya meant for reinforcing and repairing polycarbonate, so-called Lexan, bodies of RC models. It is not a paint or an ordinary modeling cement for hard plastic: it is a flexible adhesive based on synthetic rubber, which stays slightly pliable once dry, so it copes with the vibration and the impacts of flexible Lexan shells. The package holds an applicator for easy and accurate application.

Use

• Reinforcing the stressed places of a polycarbonate body from the inside
• Gluing separated parts, for example light covers in polycarbonate
• Even higher strength comes from combining it with reinforcing mesh tape for Lexan
• Repairing cracks and tears in the flexible bodies of RC cars

Who it is for

For RC modelers who build or repair Lexan car bodies and need a flexible, durable joint. It also suits reinforcing stressed edges and corners before a body goes into service.
