Porsche Sternrubin Neo is a paint from the automotive range of Mr.Paint. The shade carries the name of a Porsche factory paint and is meant for car modelers who want to hit the color of the real car exactly on the body, instead of building it up from other tones.
Striking factory paints are among the things that identify a particular car most clearly, and at the same time they are the hardest to imitate from an ordinary modeling palette. They cannot be guessed from a photograph, because they change with the light and with the surroundings. A paint named after the factory finish removes that uncertainty: the modeler knows what the shade is aiming at and does not have to experiment on the body. Besides the main body surface it also comes in useful on parts where you want an exact match with the rest of the bodywork.
For builders of Porsche car models who stick to the factory palette, and for modelers adding a striking shade to their collection that an ordinary palette cannot replace. Because the paint is tied to a specific factory finish, expect to use it up mainly on one project.
