Tamiya Iridescent Pink/Gold Spray

An aerosol lacquer spray developed for painting the clear polycarbonate (Lexan) bodies of RC models. The shade is iridescent - depending on the viewing angle and the light it shifts between pink and gold. The 100 ml package is enough for one body.

Use

It is sprayed from the inside of the clear polycarbonate body from a distance of about 30 cm.
It resists fuels and oils, so it suits nitro RC models as well.
For the full effect apply it over a base coat, preferably silver.
On ordinary polystyrene plastic models use it only with great care - the lacquer thinner can attack the surface.

Who it is for

For RC modelers who paint Lexan bodies and want a striking iridescent metallic effect.

Extremely flammable. Use only in a well-ventilated area away from sources of fire; keep away from children.

FAQ

It is intended for the clear polycarbonate bodies of RC models and is sprayed from the inside. On ordinary polystyrene plastic models use it only with great care.

A coat applied to the inner side of a clear body is protected against abrasion and the color shows through the polycarbonate beautifully.

The iridescent effect comes out best over a silver base; on its own it is semi-transparent and changes shade with the angle of the light.
