AK interactive Purulent Yellow 17 ml - acrylic paint

A model paint from the 3rd Generation acrylic line from AK interactive in a bottle of 17 milliliters. It is a water-thinnable acrylic, that is a water-based paint that can be thinned with water or with acrylic thinner. It is not a lacquer and not an enamel, so do not use cellulose or lacquer thinner with it. The shade matches the name: an unhealthy-looking greenish yellow that modelers reach for when they want the effect of a sick, faded or dirty surface.

Use

• shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom
• for an airbrush, thin it to the consistency of milk and spray at lower pressure in several thin coats
• for a brush, thin the paint only slightly, otherwise the coverage suffers
• yellow pigments cover worse than dark shades, so lay a light base or primer underneath them
• wash the tools and the airbrush with water right after work; once dry, an acrylic cleaner is needed
