Powder for convincing model snow from Green Stuff World, 200 ml. A material for winter dioramas and for snow-covered vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A loose powder for making snow in dioramas, in a package of 200 ml. Snow is among the hardest effects of all, because ordinary white paint looks like a coat of paint rather than fallen snow. A loose material solves that problem, because it has a grain of its own and the light breaks in it much as it does in reality.
It is used for snow-covered stretches of terrain, for drifts by walls and by vehicles, for snow lying on the horizontal surfaces of vehicles and on the edges of roofs. It also comes into its own combined with a binder, which turns the powder into a mass for shaping larger drifts.
Never scatter snow evenly. In reality it holds on horizontal surfaces and in sheltered spots, while vertical walls and the areas around exhausts stay bare. Coat the surface with glue or binder only where the snow is to be, and scatter the material from above. Let darker ground show through under the snow and add a slushy, dirtied layer around the wheels and the tracks.
This is a material for making landscape. The glue and the binder are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Let the finished surface dry through thoroughly and only then move the diorama, or unglued material will slide off.
