A hollow plastic profile of rectangular section from Plastruct in polystyrene (styrene). The outside dimension is 9.5 x 6.4 mm, the wall thickness is 0.6 mm and the length is 375 mm. The hollow section lets you slide the profile over another part or run wires and shafts through it. It suits girders, frames and structures.
The profile cuts easily with a sharp modeling knife or a saw and is glued with cement for polystyrene, which melts the surface and joins it, or with cyanoacrylate glue. The cut edges can be sanded and the surface takes modeling paints without trouble once a primer has been applied.
This is a modeling semi-finished material (a raw plastic profile), not a kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
