RED PRIMER DARK BASE

Red Primer Dark Base - an acrylic paint (17 ml, AMMO)

This is a modeling paint, not a kit. Red Primer Dark Base is a water-thinnable acrylic from AMMO of Mig Jimenez in a 17 ml bottle. It is not a stand-alone shade for a whole model but the darkest tone in the graded range of the red-brown primer (the so-called red primer, or rotbraun) that is seen on unfinished German vehicles of the late war. It serves to create shadows and the darkest places during color modulation; it is combined with the lighter tones of the same range. It is thinned with water or AMMO acrylic thinner, it is odorless and it is cleaned with water. It is not a lacquer.

Use

• The darkest tone of the red-brown primer, for shadows and deep places
• Color modulation of vehicles in the red primer color (rotbraun)
• It works best in combination with the base and the light tone of the same range
• Airbrush: thin with water or acrylic thinner and apply in fine coats
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use
