Red Stick-on LED Lights are self-adhesive red LEDs from the Just Plug lighting system by Woodland Scenics. They are used for tail and warning lights, railway signals and warm fire effects.

A self-adhesive light source with a red LED for lighting models. The diode is seated in a flat pad with a self-adhesive layer, from which a thin lead terminated with a Just Plug system plug runs. The pad is stuck from the inside onto the wall or the ceiling of a model, the lead is brought out through a hole into the baseboard and pushed into the hub. The light source therefore stays hidden and in the scene you see only its glow.
A Just Plug hub and a power supply are necessary for operation and are sold separately. Every output of the hub has its own brightness control, so you fine-tune the red to the role it is to play in the scene. A low brightness suits smoldering embers and a subdued signal light, a higher one warning lights that are meant to be seen. Neither soldering nor series resistors are needed, an LED practically does not heat up and it has a long life.
For layout modelers and builders of dioramas who want to add a working signal or effect light to a scene without soldering, and for users of the Just Plug system extending existing lighting.
Neither the Just Plug hub nor the power supply is included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Run the lead freely and do not put it under tension where it leaves the pad.
