RLM 78 Hellblau

Mr.Paint RLM 78 Hellblau

A light blue lacquer-based paint from Mr.Paint (MRP) that reproduces the German aircraft shade RLM 78 Hellblau. The paint is pre-thinned and ready to spray with an airbrush straight from the bottle. RLM 78 was the light blue shade of the undersides of German aircraft, introduced above all for machines committed in the Mediterranean and in the later part of the war; it gradually replaced the older blue underside color.

Use

• painting the undersides of models of Luftwaffe aircraft of the later part of the Second World War
• machines of the Mediterranean (tropical) theater, in combination with sand and brown upper shades
• spraying with an airbrush in several thin coats
• where needed, thin with the lacquer thinner of the same range; clean the airbrush with lacquer cleaner
• it bonds to plastic, resin and metal

Who it is for

For modelers of German aircraft of the Second World War who work with an airbrush and want a fast-drying lacquer paint with fine pigment and a smooth, durable finish. The RLM 78 shade is essential for faithful camouflage of the undersides of Luftwaffe machines.

Intended for the airbrush. Flammable, the vapors are harmful: use in a well-ventilated area, with a respirator and gloves, away from open flame and out of the reach of children.
