Eldar texture roller from Green Stuff World: its engraved pattern presses a structure into modeling putty or polymer clay.
Responsibility details are not available.
A roller with an engraved pattern that presses a structure into spread-out putty. The principle is the same as a stamp, only over the whole area at once: you spread the putty on a flat base, roll the roller over it and get a surface you would otherwise have to engrave piece by piece. This pattern is one of the fantasy ones, so it suits bases and scenery for science fiction and fantasy subjects.
First prepare the putty according to its manufacturer's instructions and spread it into an even layer, because an uneven base gives an uneven impression. Sticky putties such as two-part modeling putty catch on the roller, so dampen the roller or the putty lightly with water. Polymer clay, by contrast, can be impressed directly onto a base, and mistakes in it are easy to correct as long as it has not been baked. Clean the roller after work while the putty is still soft; dried remnants clog the pattern and the next impression will no longer be crisp.
For painters of figures and builders of wargaming scenery, for diorama makers and for anyone who wants to make their own textured surfaces instead of buying ready-made bases.
Keep the tool out of the reach of children and do not expose it to high temperature, so that the pattern does not deform.
