Rolling Pin Small DUTCH Bricks is a Green Stuff World texture roller with small brickwork of the Dutch type. It is not a paint and not a kit — it is a tool with which the structure is impressed into modeling compound.

The smaller version of the brick motif is intended for everywhere ordinary brickwork would come across as coarse: on small backdrops, on low walls by figure bases and on scenes in smaller scales. Around its whole circumference the roller carries the relief of narrow bricks laid in a regular bond, so one pass gives a continuous strip of wall that can be joined up.
A small structure will not bear heavy layers of paint. Apply it in thin steps: a dark base, light drybrushing across the edges of the bricks, then a thin wash that runs into the joints. Build the color up with glazes rather than one heavy coat — otherwise the relief fills in and the brickwork loses its definition.
Modeling compound, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Sand cured compound with respiratory protection.
