Russian Air Superiority Grey

Mr.Paint Russian Air Superiority Grey

A lacquer-based modeling paint from Mr.Paint (MRP) in a 30 ml dropper bottle. The shade matches the air superiority gray used on Soviet and Russian fighters, typically on later versions of the MiG-21 and early MiG-23s. It is a paint intended solely for spraying with an airbrush.

Use

• applied with an airbrush in thin coats; the paint is pre-thinned for nozzles of roughly 0.3 mm and needs no further thinning as a rule
• for finer work or a larger nozzle it is thinned with lacquer (MRP) thinner, never with water
• it dries quickly and forms a thin, tough, smooth surface suitable under decals
• shake the bottle well before use

Who the paint is for

For modelers building Soviet and Russian fighters who work with an airbrush and want an accurate factory shade with a thin film. Thanks to its lacquer base the paint is durable and takes washes and varnishes that follow well.

The lacquer is flammable and its fumes are harmful to health. Work in a well-ventilated space, use a respirator and protect your skin and eyes. Do not thin with water.
