SCC No.1A Dark Brown

Mr.Paint SCC No.1A Dark Brown

This is a solvent-based modeling lacquer, not a water-thinnable acrylic. It comes in a bottle of 30 ml, is pre-thinned and is intended primarily for application with an airbrush. SCC No.1A is the very dark brown disruptive shade of British armored vehicles during the Second World War.

Use

• Sprayed with an airbrush straight from the bottle; with a 0.3 mm nozzle mostly without further thinning (a pressure of roughly 10 to 25 PSI).
• Applied in thin coats over a base color (primer); the coats dry quickly.
• It is thinned, and the airbrush is cleaned, with Mr.Paint lacquer thinner, NEVER with water.
• The surface after drying is satin to semi-gloss; it suits a disruptive tone over a base color.

Who it is for

For modelers of armored vehicles working with an airbrush who build British vehicles and need a faithful dark brown for camouflage patterns.

A flammable solvent-based liquid. Spray in a well-ventilated space, use a respirator and keep away from open flame.
