About product

Ships Weathering Set Vol.1 from AK interactive

A weathering set aimed at weathering ships, suitable for military and civilian models in every scale. It holds three enamel products: a wash for gray decks, a gray wash for the hulls of warships and a brown streaking effect for rusty underwater areas and red hulls. It is not a paint for a base coat but an accessory for weathering a finished model.

Use

  • The wash for gray decks brings out the planking, the hatches and the detail of the superstructures.
  • The gray wash livens up the breakdown of the hulls and superstructures of warships.
  • The brown streaking effects suggest rust and running stains on hulls and underwater areas.
  • Suitable for full hulls and for the waterline version alike.

Who the set is for

For modelers of ships who want to give hulls and decks realistic weathering.

The enamel effects are thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits; work with ventilation.
