Responsibility details are not available.
A combined set from the Italian brand Lifecolor aimed at dust. According to the name it brings together modeling paints and pigments, which complement each other in this work: the paint lays down a continuous dusty tone, the pigment adds grain and a deposit in the places where dust really gathers. The shades are matched so that they follow on from one another.
Dust is the quietest and at the same time the most effective weathering. It adds no conspicuous effect to the model, it only shifts the overall tone and ties the equipment to the terrain it stands on. That is exactly why it is sensitive to shade: dust from a European field has a different color than dust from a desert road or from broken paving in a city. The set gives several tones side by side, so it can be tuned to the scene. It comes into its own on military and construction equipment, on civilian vehicles, on dioramas and on standalone figures, where dust on the boots and the hems lends credibility at once.
For modelers of equipment and builders of dioramas who want dust weathering settled with one matched line from the base tone to the final grain.
Caution: Keep the paints and the pigments out of the reach of children, work in a ventilated room and close the packages carefully after use.
