A bridge is one of the elements that give a diorama a story and depth at once: it divides the area, creates a difference in height and makes it possible to place the main model in a natural composition, whether on the bridge, in front of it or below it. Stone bridges are also not tied to one era, so they suit historical and civilian scenes and just as well a fantasy or postapocalyptic subject. The universal designation means that suitability for a given scale is decided by the relation to the figures and the equipment you want to use; compare the dimensions of the bridge with the model that is to go onto it.
Sizeable diorama accessories tend to be cast in resin or plaster or printed on a 3D printer. Bring out the depth of the joints with a dark wash and finish with a local green and brown shade for moss and deposits of soil at the foot of the bridge. Fill the transition of the bridge into the terrain with modeling material, so that the structure does not look merely laid on the base.
