Responsibility details are not available.
A set of universal masking templates in the shape of straight stripes. It is not a product for a particular kit — it is an aid for every situation where you need an exactly equally wide straight line along its whole length. The range of widths starts at 0.5 mm and ends at 2.5 mm, steps up by tenths of a millimeter and therefore covers twenty-one different widths. Each stripe is 200 mm long, which on ordinary models is amply enough to go round a fuselage or to run a stripe across a whole wing without having to join pieces.
Transfer the stripe with tweezers and lay it down in one pass — once it goes on crooked, it is better to lift it off and use a new one than to shift it. On rounded surfaces stretch the stripe slightly and press it down gradually so that no creases form. The base has to be smooth, dry and degreased. Before the color of the stripe, mist the edge with the color that is under the mask; that seals any gap and the resulting line will be perfectly sharp. Spray thin coats and lift the mask off shortly after it has dried, pulling back at an angle along the line. When you need a wider stripe, further ranges of widths follow on from this set.
For aircraft modelers building machines with identification stripes, for builders of cars and motorcycles with racing lines, and for everyone who wants sharp straight edges without laboriously measuring and cutting tape against a ruler.
The package holds masking templates only. The model, paints and glue are not part of it.
