Super Sculpey polymer modeling clay in a beige shade, a 454 g package supplied by Green Stuff World. It is not a model or a kit but a sculpting material for making figures, masters, accessories and diorama features. Beige Super Sculpey is the softest of this range, shapes well and takes work with texture rollers and tools.

Use

• Sculpting figures, masters (patterns for casting) and small accessories
• The clay does not harden in the air, so you work with it until you are satisfied
• It cures by baking for about 15 minutes at a temperature of around 130 °C in an ordinary oven
• Once cured, the surface can be cut, sanded, drilled and painted

Work tips

Knead the clay first so that it softens. Refine the detail with tools and a moistened brush. Before baking, check the temperature of the oven (too high a temperature burns the clay) and keep to the recommended time. Fresh soft clay can be applied to an already cured part and baked again.
