Tall Shrubbery - Blue Green

Tall Shrubbery - Blue Green

Diorama growth from the Tall Shrubbery range by Green Stuff World in the Blue Green finish, that is a combination of blue and green. It is not full-coverage foliage or a low tuft but a material for a taller shrub layer that stands in a scene as a mass of its own with an irregular outline.

Where it belongs in a scene

A diorama is built from the bottom up and vegetation follows that sequence. Right at the bottom is the base and its texture, above it the low layer of grass and moss, and only above that the bushes that give the scene height. Without this upper layer a scene stays flat even when the terrain below it is made carefully. The blue-green tone suits cooler and fantasy subjects, where the growth is meant to look alien or where several kinds of vegetation need to be told apart. A natural result comes from combining two or three shades of the range placed irregularly, not from a single continuous band. It also pays to leave open spots between the bushes, because empty ground lets the growth stand out and the scene does not look overcrowded.

Use

• A shrub layer on figure bases and in smaller scenes
• Cool and fantasy scenery
• Telling kinds of vegetation apart within one scene
• An addition above low vegetation and grass tufts

Who the growth is for

It is aimed at players of figure games and diorama builders who want vegetation in several layers and are looking for growth in an unconventional color for fantasy subjects.

Keep out of the reach of children. Protect the material from damp.
