Tamiya Maskovací páska 10mm

Tamiya Masking Tape 10 mm

Tamiya masking tape is a thin but strong modeling tape 10 mm wide from the Japanese brand Tamiya. It is intended for masking when spraying paints – it holds even on an uneven surface, follows shapes well and, once peeled off, leaves a clean, sharp transition without paint creeping under the edge.

Use

• Masking areas and edges when airbrushing and brush painting – it protects the parts that are not to be oversprayed.
• Creating sharp dividing lines between colors (camouflage, two-tone finishes).
• Thanks to its flexibility it follows gentle curves and uneven surfaces well.
• It does not soak up paint and leaves no unsightly marks on the surface; suitable for painted and unpainted plastic and for RC models.
• For very tight curves the manufacturer offers a separate tape for curves – this 10 mm one is ideal mainly for straight and gently curved edges.

Who it is for

The tape is a basic aid for everyone who sprays models and needs clean transitions between colors. The 10 mm width is universal for larger areas as well as longer straight edges. Suitable for beginners and experienced modelers alike.

Safety: an ordinary adhesive tape, keep out of reach of small children. On delicate or freshly painted surfaces it is better to test the tape before sticking it down.
