Tamiya TS-19 Metallic Blue - a Metallic Blue Lacquer Spray, 100 ml

A spray paint holding 100 ml from Tamiya. It is a synthetic lacquer in a spray can with a fine metal sheen that dries quickly after spraying and forms an even metallic blue layer. The spray is ready for immediate use and does not need thinning. Because it is a metallic, it contains a metal pigment that settles inside the can.

Use

• Spraying larger areas: car bodies, motorcycles, covers and accessories.
• Metallic blue as a striking final coat on a smooth surface.
• Shake the can thoroughly and for a good while before use and during it, so that the pigment is mixed in.
• Apply in thin coats from a distance; several coats prevent runs.
• Apply the metallic at the end, as it is harder to mask and overspray.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to create a striking metallic blue surface quickly even without an airbrush. The spray is intended for hard plastic. A note: it is not suitable for clear polycarbonate (Lexan) RC bodies; use the Tamiya PS range for those.

A safety note: a flammable pressurized can. Use in a well-ventilated area away from open flame, do not inhale the vapors, protect it from sunlight and heat, and do not pierce the can or throw it into fire.
