TS-20 Metallic Green 100ml

Tamiya TS-20 Metallic Green (100 ml spray, made by Tamiya)

A spray paint from the Tamiya TS range. The binder is a synthetic lacquer that dries fast to a smooth glossy surface with a fine metallic effect. The can holds 100 ml, which covers roughly two to three car bodies in 1:24 scale. The spray is ready for immediate use and is not thinned.

Use

• Apply in thin coats from a distance of roughly 20 to 30 cm onto a clean, degreased and smooth surface.
• The metallic pigment settles to the bottom, so shake the can thoroughly before and during work.
• Apply a metallic finish rather at the end, as it is harder to overspray and to mask.
• Do not apply it over an enamel surface, as a lacquer spray could attack it.
• Once the lacquer is dry, the detail can be finished with acrylic or enamel paints, which will not attack the coat.

For modelers building cars, motorcycles and other subjects who want a fast and even metallic coat without an airbrush.

The spray is flammable, so work in a well ventilated area away from sources of flame and protect your airways. It is not recommended for clear polycarbonate (Lexan) RC bodies; use the Tamiya PS range for those.
