A Tamiya TS range spray is a synthetic (nitro) lacquer in a pressurized can holding 100 ml, intended for spraying plastic models. The Light Gun Metal shade is a lighter variant of the dark gun metal metallic; once dry it has a fine metal sheen reminiscent of polished steel. The paint dries quickly and suits areas that are meant to look like metal.

Use

• Ideal for metal areas on models: gun barrels and weapon parts, engines, exhausts, landing gear and technical details.
• It is applied straight from the can onto clean, degreased plastic in thin coats.
• Spray from a distance of about 20 to 30 cm, rather several times than once heavily, because metallics come out best in a thin film.
• The lacquer does not affect acrylic or enamel paints, so details can be picked out with a brush afterwards.
• Shake the can thoroughly before use and test the shade on a scrap part.
