Submarine hulls and other very dark areas call for a shade that is dark but not black, and that is exactly where Black Green RLM70 FS34052 from Lifecolor aims.
Responsibility details are not available.
A very dark blackish-green shade from the acrylic range of the Lifecolor brand. The name refers to the German aviation shade RLM 70 and also carries the number of the American FS34052 color standard, so the tone can be compared outside German schemes as well.
On submarines and on dark ship hulls black is often reached for, and it tends to be a mistake. On a large area black kills absolutely everything: rivets, welds, hatches and the shape of the hull itself. A very dark blackish-green shade, by contrast, holds the impression of a dark area but leaves the surface at least a remnant of its drawing and, above all, allows further work with light. The top of a hull can be lightened barely perceptibly, the sides left dark and the edges underlined, and the model thus stays legible even in a display case without spot lighting.
For modelers who want darkness without losing detail, whether they are building a submarine, a dark hull or a German aircraft.
Out of the reach of children. When spraying, make sure of good ventilation.
