Olive Drab Matt FS34088 from Lifecolor is aimed at the underside of the hull and the area around the running gear. A matte olive tone that will take heavy soiling from the bottom up.
Responsibility details are not available.
The running gear is where soiling arises, and from there it spreads upward. The heaviest layer is always close to the ground; toward the roof it weakens and changes from mud into dust. Skip this gradient and dirty the machine evenly and you get a surface that looks neglected rather than used. This matte olive shade, whose name refers to the American Federal Standard FS34088, is a good starting point for the lower parts.
Apply the olive base to the whole machine including the running gear, so that the surface has a uniform tone, and only then build the soiling up in bands from the bottom. The same shade also serves at the end of the work: where the layer has been overdone, it can give back a piece of clean surface and keep the shapes legible. Leave the thin places by the tracks and wheels prominent instead, because those are what create the impression of a machine that has moved through rough ground.
Modelers of ground vehicles who work with continuous banded grime and want a matte olive ground under it. It also serves on the chassis assemblies of trucks and towed equipment.
Keep the paint out of the reach of children, ensure ventilation when spraying and protect your airways and eyes.
