UA516 - Dark Sea Grey FS36118

Lifecolor Dark Sea Grey FS36118 (22 ml acrylic paint)

A matte water-thinnable acrylic paint in a 22 ml bottle. A dark gray aircraft shade matching the FS 36118 chart, which is used on the upper camouflage surfaces of military aircraft. The paint creates a fine matte surface suitable for scale models.

Use

• It is applied with the brush and the airbrush and holds on plastic, resin and metal.
• For the airbrush it is thinned with water or with Lifecolor thinner to the consistency of milk and sprayed at low pressure, roughly 10 to 20 psi.
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
• A matte ground takes washes and filters well; use a compatible gloss varnish under decals.

Who it is for

For aircraft modelers who build machines with gray camouflage and need a faithful shade per the FS 36118 chart.

The paint is water-thinnable and safe in ordinary handling. Work in a ventilated room, close the container well after use and keep it out of the reach of children.
