Lifecolor UA621 Ocean Gray 5-O is an acrylic paint in the naval gray of the US Navy of the Second World War, 22 ml.
Responsibility details are not available.
A medium naval gray of the US Navy of the Second World War in a bottle with a volume of twenty-two milliliters. The designation 5-O is a period shade number from the system the US Navy used for composing camouflage Measures. The paint is acrylic, thinned with water or with the brand's own thinner, and applied with a brush as well as an airbrush.
The manufacturer ties the shade to the camouflage Measures of late 1941, specifically to Measures 2, 12, 14, 31 and 32. This middle tone appears in the Measures most often of all, because it forms the main area to which the other shades relate. For building a particular ship it is therefore good to know the date at which the ship is depicted, as the Measures changed over time.
Shake the bottle thoroughly, as the pigment settles to the bottom. For a brush the paint is used practically as it is; for an airbrush thin it to the consistency of milk and spray in thin coats so that the plate seams and rivets stay legible.
Keep the paint out of the reach of children, ventilate when spraying and protect your airways. Close the bottle carefully after use.
