About product

Lifecolor US Navy WWII Deck Blue 20-B

A matte water-based modeling acrylic of 22 ml. The Deck Blue 20-B shade is the dark blue-gray deck finish of the US Navy used on the upper surfaces of ships in the Second World War as part of the camouflage schemes of the day. The paint is low in toxicity, free of solvents and free of a sharp smell.

Use

  • Applied with a brush and with an airbrush; for spraying, thin it with water or with Lifecolor thinner.
  • It dries quickly to a matte and durable film.
  • It holds on plastic, resin and metal, so it suits plastic and multimedia ship models alike.
  • Suited as a full coat for decks and as a base under later weathering, from salt to rubbing and running shadows.

Who it is for

For modelers building American warships of the Second World War who want the exact deck shade matching the regulations of the day.

Keep out of the reach of children. Ventilate when airbrushing and protect your airways. Clean the tools with water right after use.
