Wide V-grooves every two millimeters on half-millimeter plastic. The sheet area is 15 x 30 cm.
Responsibility details are not available.
The groove step reaches two millimeters, which is a conversion of eighty thousandths of an inch. The grid is already pronounced enough to work even over a large area, and yet it stays thin, so it can be glued onto a finished wall as cladding without increasing the thickness of the corners. The longer side of the sheet measures thirty centimeters.
In 1:35 scale one strip works out at seven centimeters, in 1:24 scale at 4.8 cm and in 1:48 scale at 9.6 cm. Those are the dimensions of the planks on the inner lining of a field workshop, of prewar hangar walls or of a tall tool chest. In larger figure scales it also makes a floor on which the movement of the boards shows between individual strips.
What helps most is not ending the cladding in a sharp cut: let the lower edge overhang the footing and cover it at the top with a strip. Scribe irregular lines along the grain into a few strips with the point of a scriber and bend one of them slightly, so that the wall is not straight as a ruler. Choose the paint darker than you expect, as it always lightens after a dry brush. A workshop wall also calls for a few small things: a shelf from an offcut, a nail with a chain hanging on it and a greasy stain from spilled oil under the workbench.
