A Hataka paint from the Orange Line range in a light green shade carried under the designation AN22.
Responsibility details are not available.
This shade from the Orange Line range by Hataka is carried under the designation AN22. Its name is Finnish and means light green. So it is a light green tone, not a saturated grass green; shades like that are used in camouflage as the lighter component beside a dark green or a brown.
A light green comes into its own anywhere the camouflage is meant to be broken up rather than uniform: on the upper surfaces of aircraft, on the sides of vehicles and on accessories that are meant to stand off from their surroundings. The code AN22 serves for looking the shade up in the references for a build, because by name alone light green shades are easily confused. Before spraying, check in the instructions for your model which shade is meant to go on which surface.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before work, settled pigment covers unevenly. Light shades tend to be less opaque than dark ones, so it pays to lay them over a light substrate and build the paint up in several light coats instead of one heavy one; a heavy coat moreover floods the engraving. For an airbrush, thin the paint with the thinner intended for the Orange Line range according to the instructions given by the manufacturer on the packaging. The boundaries between camouflage fields can be softened by spraying from a greater distance or through a raised mask. Before decals, coat the area with a gloss clear coat.
The delivery contains the shade of paint given. The model, thinner, brushes and clear coats are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
