A modeling paint from AK Interactive's Real Colors range, a green shade carried under the name Vaillant Green, in a bottle of 17 ml.
Responsibility details are not available.
Vaillant Green is a green carried under a trade name of its own, not under a standard number. That has a practical consequence: the shade cannot be looked up in any standard and is compared directly against a sample or a photograph of the subject. For a modeler that tends to be an advantage anywhere a bold color finish on modern hardware or a color scheme of your own is involved. Such shades are usually more saturated than camouflage paints, and on a model they keep a clean color character even once dry.
A saturated green is rewarding on large smooth surfaces, where its whole depth comes out. It comes into its own on bodywork, cowlings and frames, on scenic accessories and on small parts that are meant to catch the eye in the overall view. Under a saturated color, though, every unevenness and every scratch shows, so it pays to spend time sanding and checking the surface before the paint goes onto the model.
Mix the bottle thoroughly before use, so that the settled pigment goes back through the whole volume. Lay the paint on in thin coats and let it dry between them; the more saturated tones then stay even and do not flood the surface detail. Try the coverage on a test piece beforehand, because it depends on how dark the surface underneath is. The thinning ratio, the spraying pressure and cleaning the tools follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
One bottle of paint of 17 ml is supplied. Thinner, primer, a final varnish and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
