A set of four acrylics for the skin of the undead: a greenish base, a gray-brown for blotches, a purple for wounds and a light tone for the high points. 17 ml each.
Responsibility details are not available.
Living skin on a figure is smooth and uniform, dead skin is not, and it is exactly that difference the set serves. Inside are four shades: Decomposed Flesh, Luminous Flesh, Grey-Brown and Purple. The first pair forms the scale of the skin itself, the gray-brown serves for grime and blotches, and the purple for bruises and wounds. The individual bottles hold 17 ml and all four are sold individually as well.
The base is formed by the darker of the two flesh tones, laid across the whole surface and quite happily in a careless way. The gray-brown is then stippled onto the belly, the forearms and the lower part of the legs, where discoloration would show up first; the dots are left to dry and washed out with clean water into vague patches. The purple goes heavily thinned into open wounds, around the nails and into the eye sockets. The lighter flesh tone stays at the end on the cheekbones, the joints and the edge of the jaw, because that is where the skin is stretched over the bone.
This set of tones will serve the undead in board and tabletop games, the inhabitants of tombs and figures for horror scenes. It also goes well with rust and tarnished metal, so that gnawed armor can stand on one base beside equally worn skin. The shades can be mixed with one another and go together with other acrylics of the same line.
